Creole Cultural Book

Summary

The Creole territory is located in the municipalities of Bluefields, Pearl Lagoon and Corn Island, in the South Atlantic Autonomous Region of Nicaragua (RAAS), there are also Creole population in the North Atlantic Autonomous Region of Nicaragua (RAAN). The city of Bluefields is 388 km from the city of Managua, and is the seat of government and head of the RAAS. It is bordered to the north by Kukra Hill, to the south by the municipality of San Juan del Norte, to the east by the Caribbean Sea, and to the west by the municipalities of Nueva Guinea and Rama. It is estimated that about 70,000 people live in the city. Bilwi is the municipal capital of Puerto Cabezas (RAAN). It is bordered on the north by the municipality of Waspam; on the south by the municipality of Prinzapolka; on the east by the Caribbean Sea (Atlantic Ocean); on the west by the municipalities of Rosita and Waspam.
